Ivy Valentine is a social movement organizer and reparationist, studying labor and political economy at the School of Labor and Urban Studies. Most importantly, she is a single queer mother trying hard to bring ancestral womanism into her parenting of her young son. A budding media critic, editor, and writer she loves superheroes and is writing an Afrofuturist fantasy novel.

Gwendolyn is a writer, civil rights community activist, and documentarian with a focus on Black, immigrant, disabled, and economically disenfranchised populations. Gwendolyn has over 10 years of experience as an educational professional in the public school system.

Hess Love is a community archivest, ethnoecologist, and poet currently studying for an MFA in poetry and as a master naturalist. As a co-founder of the Chesapeake Conjure Society, Hess is driven by communal ways of knowing through heritage preservation, cosmovision, and place-based practices in the Chesapeake Area.
